Bram Fournier is a solo trombonist at the orchestra of the Royale Operahouse ‘La Monnaie’ in Brussels and associated with the wind ensemble I Solisti, with which he plays chamber music and coaches young talents. In addition, he is a regular guest with the Hermes ensemble, Belgian Brass, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, Brussels Philharmonic, National Orchestra of Belgium and Casco Phil.

During his studies Bram already made a name for himself as a Belgian finalist in the Lions European Musical Competition in 2009 and was also a member of the Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchesterakademie (SHMF) and the Netherlands Orchestra and Ensemble Academy (NJO). From 2010 to 2013 he was part of the Flanders Symphony Orchestra, in 2012 he was Trial Principal Trombone with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Essa-Pekka Salonen in London and subsequently worked as a solo trombonist with Sinfonieorchester Aachen in 2013.

He worked under the direction of conductors such as Alain Altinoglu, Carlo Rizzi, Christoph Eschenbach, Edo De Waart, Esa-Pekka Salonen, George Benjamin, Hartmut Haenchen, Jaap van Zweden, Kazushi Ono, Koen Kessels, Lahav Shani, Reinbert de Leeuw and Sylvain Cambreling . He also contributed to the world creation of works by Bram Van Camp, Daan Janssens, Frederik Neyrinck, Pascal Dusapin, Wim Henderickx and Wolfgang Rihm, among others, and recorded works by Frederik Neyrinck, Pieter Schuermans and Wim Henderickx (World Première Recordings).

Bram studied at the Lemmens Institute in Leuven and afterwards at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp with Jan Smets, where he obtained his master's degree in music with the highest distinction. He completed with Jonas Bylund a 'Solo Class' at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hanover and followed master classes with Alain Trudel, Christian Lindberg, Ian Bousfield, Jörgen Van Rijen, Michel Becquet and Wim Becu, among others.
